Panels and Demos: The Eyes and Ears of CoreCon

CoreCon Panels and Demos

Panels open up discussions on a variety of topics that pertain to the wide world of science fiction and fantasy, not just to our convention's yearly theme. Our panelists talk and discuss their crafts, hobbies, or interests and participate in question and answer opportunities. Some of our past panel topics have included paranormal investigating, comic book collecting, e-publishing, and costuming.

Demos, on the other hand, use a more physical and instructional aspect. They can provide information by displaying, for example, art techniques, how to use weapons, or prop creation. At past convetions, we have seen a variety of demos that include sword technique, airbrushing, and bellydancing.

If you want to head a panel or demonstration at CoreCon, please fill out the submission form below. If you have questions regarding your idea, feel free to contact our Panel Coordinator at panels@fargocorecon.org. We would also like to invite you to attend one of our monthly meetings to learn more about CoreCon.

The panels and demos will be taking place in the Woods and Nicklaus rooms of the AmericInn.
