Contests at CoreCon are a great way for fans to show off their costuming and gaming skills, how well they can put together and run a fansuite, how good of a warrior they are, and/or their beautiful art. Everyone has a chance to win, and we are thankful for each and every participant.

Costume Contest

CoreCon’s Costume Contest is one of the highest attended events at the convention. Contestants are given some stage time to show their costume to the audience and are judged by a selected panel. Register for the Costume Contest today! 2017 Costume Contest  2018 Costume Contest

Walk Around Costume Contest

The walk around costume contest is for those who do not want to participate in the costume contest but still want to dress up. Attendees at the convention vote for their favorites, and the winner is announced at Closing Ceremonies. This contest still allows for great costumes to be recognized and rewarded.

Ultimate Warrior Contest

If you have the soul of a warrior and the heart of a champion then this is the competition for you! A warrior inspires courage and valor; the Ultimate Warrior inspires strength, ferocity, and strikes sheer terror into the heart of their enemies. There is no need to register and no costume required. Just show up and compete. Perform like a champion and let the crowd decide who will be the next Ultimate Warrior!

Fansuite Contest

Fansuites allow you to walk into another world of convention excitement. Each themed room is filled with new adventures, a chance to socialize, and an opportunity to relax. Each suite is unique, and we are thrilled to have them as part of CoreCon. The best fansuite is chosen by congoers’ votes and the winning suite will receive a free room and full page ad for the next year’s convention.

Other CoreCon Contests

Gaming tournaments are held both in the Portal (eGaming) and CoreCon Game Central (tabletop gaming), along with many other contests in various Panels and Fansuites. There are always great contests at CoreCon with amazing prizes!
