CoreCon Cares donates to The Village

At CoreCon VIII: On Ancient Seas we raised $1600.00 to help Nokomis Child Care Centers which is a part of The Village Family Services. How did we do that? Selling Pirate ships of course.

The CoreCon Project Team entered their amazing Pirate ship into the silent auction. That and with other donations we raised over $1600.00. Thank you to those that donated a silent auction item and  thanks to everyone who bid on the silent auction items and donated to the collection jar at the table. The representatives from The Village were genuinely heartfelt in their thank you to us. We want to thank you the same. Those that helped make this happen, wow, it means a lot. Good job everyone!

Now onto next year, CoreCon IX: Monsters and Mechs, June 8-11th at the Baymont Inn & Suites. Hopefully we can raise that or more. See you then.
